South Charleston Water Treatment Plant
At first glance this incomparable structure seems to be a barn, however, once closer examinations are made, one notices that it is in fact a water treatment plant. The exterior was designed to mingle with its surrounding culture. Though juxtaposed with an overwhelming water tower it is able to stand its ground and make a statement. When planned, it was scaled in exact proportion including the cupolas that sit atop the roof and serve as part of the ventilation system. Not a detail was missed from initial thought to construction of this immaculate form.
