Camp Birch Ecology and Conservation Lodge
Located next to John Bryan State Park this building serves as a welcome center for the Boy Scouts of America. When registering, campers are meant to undergo a transformation from city life to the rustic outdoors. A visitor walks from a typical paved parking lot into a large assembly area with metal truss plates, light fixtures, and ductwork that slowly fade into open timber trusses, and wood trim to an exit that leads to a myriad of wilderness trails. All features blend perfectly to create an incomparable experience.
