Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority
Projects completed for the Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority consist of many different types. The first was an addition of handrails to the Hugh E. Taylor apartments and Grayhill Homes. Though seemingly small, the handrails made an immense impact on both building’s residents. Next, the Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority had outgrown their current office building and opted to move into two floors of the old Columbia Gas building in downtown Springfield. Both floors were gutted and completely revamped to include special amenities and requirements to make the Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority feel as though the building was constructed with their purposes in mind. Other projects are underway amongst which is a continuing relationship with SMHA.
